Cameron Full

DBA — Doctorate in Business Administration · Dental Economics Contributor · Pikos Institute Faculty Advisory Board

Cameron founded Tekneq to solve a problem he watched play out for two decades: specialty dental practices being handed the same digital playbook as general dentistry, then being told it “just needs more time.” He rejects that model. Tekneq works with periodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and prosthodontists — and no one else.

His credentials sit at the intersection of academic rigor and operating experience. He holds a BA in Communications and Entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa, a Masters in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from St. Ambrose (December 2024). His dissertation, On Bricolage Dialogue, is a grounded theory study of how entrepreneurs solve novel problems by mining their “trove” of cross-industry experience, relationships, and first-principles reasoning. That framework is not academic ornament. It is the operating model Tekneq runs on every engagement.

Cameron is a contributor to Dental Economics, where he writes on referral economics, digital strategy for specialty practices, and the operating patterns that separate practices that scale from practices that stall. His byline has become a recruiting channel for the kind of specialist who reads trade press with a pen in hand.

Beyond Tekneq, Cameron runs an additional venture inside the dental niche. Referral Lab is a specialty-only SaaS platform used by 350+ periodontal and endodontic practices to track and grow referral relationships. The two companies form a deliberate pairing: Tekneq builds the digital surface, Referral Lab instruments the referral engine behind it. Practices generally engage one; many eventually engage both.

His family carries a longer line in dentistry. His grandfather, Dr. Clemens A. Full, was Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Iowa and, in his own way, the original bricoleur in the family — a small-town Iowa clinician who built a national teaching career by recombining what he had access to. Cameron considers his work a continuation of that instinct.

He lives in Chicago with his wife Chryssi and their daughter Penelope.
